Your products don’t sell themselves…

… even if they have the best design, features, or functionality.

If you don’t tell your target audience why your product is the best solution to their problems/needs, they’ll never know.

Your copy takes the lead when it comes to making a sale. It captures the attention of your ideal customers, invites them to scroll on and read more, and persuades them that what you offer aligns with what they need/want.

It better be damn good copy.

You’ve probably heard the first half of my story from 99% of copywriters out there.

Yes, I was obsessed with reading ever since I could.
Yes, I used to read under my desk in class and never got caught.
Yes, I loved writing and did so whenever I had the opportunity.
Yes, I went to college as a Lit major to extend my lifelong affair with words.
Yes, I later worked in Public Relations (as an intern!) and as an editor for various school and college magazines

It all adds up. I know.
But I’m not just any copywriter out there.

I had an upbringing that was very typical of my native Hong Kong. All my life, I was told to study, to practice, and to perfect. I must be striving towards something grand and illustrious—well, a career in either medicine or the law.

I did all those things because I didn't know otherwise, but I had my little rebellions. For one, I spent 16 years of my life as a ballerina at the barre and in the spotlight. What was a potential lawyer going to do with a pirouette? Nothing.

That’s right—I pursued a passion not because it would get me into law school; I did so because I wanted to. I also knew that it was shaping me into the person I wanted to be: strong, tenacious, disciplined, graceful, and confident.

Later, I shunned a potential career as a high-flying and expensive-looking solicitor by choosing to major in English and Comparative Literature. I made it my mission to learn how to learn—how to analyze, to discuss, to question, and to express. These lessons have proven to be beyond valuable as a copywriter.

After graduating from college, I decided to look for jobs in Marketing/PR. To make side income for while I was knee-deep in my job hunt, I created a profile on a freelance job platform as a copyeditor. And slowly but surely, I built a business for myself.

As expected, my decision to defy expectations and take the road less travelled was not embraced by all, but I knew that I was making the right choice. And every day, I continue to believe so.

As of today, I have completed more than 1500 copywriting, content writing, consulting, and copyediting projects on Fiverr.com. 100% of my ratings are 5/5-stars.

What I value

Being professional

I care about the success of your business, and I know that I’m part of that equation. This is why I always put my best foot forward and give 200% to every project. Also: I respect your time and keep my promises. A deadline is a DEADline.

Pursuing growth

As a businessowner, there is always more learning to do. I read, watch, and listen to content that nourishes my mind. I keep an open mind and am a-okay with making mistakes, because I know I can learn something from every one of them.

Having fun

I love surprises and adventures. I crave new experiences. When we work together, it’s my mission to make sure you’re having the time of your life—why else are we doing this? (Bills aside. And margaritas at a fancy beach club.)

Upholding integrity

BS and I are like oil and water—we simply don’t mix. I don't do deceptive, dishonest, or unkind. I cannot lie for you or make up any juicy stats in your copy. I also do not tolerate any form of discrimination, racism, or malicious behavior.
